Buffalo Nickels, also known as Indian Head Nickels were minted from 1913 to 1938. The (8) dates for this lot are 1919, 1920, 1926, 1928, 1929, 1935, 1936 and 1937. Liberty Head nickels or V nickels, were designed by Charles E. Barber and produced from 1883 to 1912. The nickname "V nickels" comes from the large Roman numeral "V" on the reverse side, indicating the coins' value of five cents. The (2) dates represented here are 1908 and 1910. These are sold as a set of 10.
